Myrtis Hurtt Ramsey age 94 a homemaker of Nanafalia, AL., died September 12, 2014 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was born April 4, 1920 in Sweet Water, AL. She was a member of Nanafalia Baptist Church.
She is survived by he son, John Richard "Dick" (Helen) Ramsey of Nanafalia, AL; three daughters, Rosemary Ramsey Ingram of Tuscaloosa, AL; Rhonda Ramsey (Chuck) Smith of Nanafalia, AL; Terry Ramsey (Buddy) Noojin of Mobile, AL; sister, Dorothy Barr of Okeechobee, FL; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Ramsey, Jr., son, Donald Curtis Ramsey, granddaughter, Angela Ingram Pope, and three brothers, Seldon Hurt, Eric Hurt, Benton Hurtt
Visitation will be held at Nanafalia Baptist Church on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Craig Gavin officiating. Burial will be in the Nanafalia Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Nanafalia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
