Paralee Blanks was born on December 1, 1943 in Repton, AL daughter of the late Sam and Annie Bell Packer. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Mobile Infirmary. She was educated in Marengo County. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Paralee Blanks leaves to cherish her memories six sons, Bobby Packer, Sr. (Myra) of Foley, AL; Curtis Packer (Josephine) of Foley, AL; Isaac Blanks (Lay Lay) of Thomasville, AL; Stephen Packer Sr. (Chalis) of Radcliff, KY; Alexander Blanks (Linda) of Mobile, AL; Willie Blanks, Jr. of Dixons Mills, AL; daughter, Annie Donell Packer of Foley, AL; three sisters, Mary Kennedy (Charles) of Foley, AL; Rachel Robinson of Foley, AL; and Betty Sewell (Johnnie) of Foley, AL; three brothers, Johnnie Packer (Dorothy) of Pine Hill, AL; Jackie Packer of Foley, AL; and Willie James Packer (Mary) of Foley, AL; 21 devoted grandchildren, 29 devoted great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Blanks; two sisters, Betty Louise Moore and Theresa Packer; and two brothers, Walter Packer and Sam Packer, Jr.
Visitation will be held at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Edmond Charleston officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Nicholsville, AL.
