Obituary for Ray Burge
Raymond Alvin Burge, Sr. age 75 of Campground, AL died March 16, 2023 at his home. He was born April 29, 1947 in Butler, AL to Rufus Raymond Burge and Elinor Barr Burge. He was a retired electronics specialist / computer technician and was a member of Hope Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Glass Burge; son, Raymond Alvin Burge, Jr. (Kim); daughter, Melisa Sakon (Fred); three sisters, Joyce Burge Morgan (Alfred), Betty Ann Burge Hill, and Dianne Evatt (Paul); two grandchildren, Ethan A Sakon (Emma) and Anthony Raymond Burge.
He was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin Franklin Singleton.
Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Fred Sakon officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hope Baptist Church.
