Obituary for Jo Ann Anderson
Jo Ann Anderson age 82 a homemaker of Linden, AL died March 6, 2023 at Whitfield Regional Medical Center. Jo Ann was born in Butler, AL to Tom and Layde B. Adkins on October 24, 1940. She was a member of Geneva Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Alton Anderson; daughter, Julie Wright; two sons, Jim Anderson and Chris Anderson; granddaughter, Jessica Thornhill (Wynn); grandsons, Chad Wright, Nicholas Anderson, and Jake Anderson; great grandchildren, Abbie and Grant Thornhill; nieces, Audrey Barnes and Rhonda Phillips; nephews, Steven Phillips and Mike Barnes; and special cousin, Jimbo Ward.
Jo Ann was preceded by her parents, Tom and Layde B. Adkins; sisters, Katherine Barnes and Tommye Phillips; and niece, Jo Fair.
Visitation will be held at Geneva Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Scott Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow at Geneva Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
