Hillard Jerry Fortson age 82 of Dixons Mills, AL died on March 5, 2023 at his home. He was born June 7, 1940 in Meridian, MS to Hillard Lavon and Evelyn Fortson.
He is survived by his son, Michael “Mike” Fortson; three grandchildren, Carson Fortson (Eva), Amber Zeis, and Brandy Harvey; three great grandchildren, Rythian Fortson, Juniper Roth, and Marion Roth; and sister, Gwen Jones.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Sager Fortson; son, Ronald “Jay” Fortson; and great grandchild, Casey Roth.
