Obituary for Kem Akins
John Kemp “Kem” Akins, Jr. age 65 of Linden, AL died September 22, 2022 at UAB Hospital. He was born February 12, 1957 in Aliceville, AL to John Kemp and Barbara Akins. He was a member of Linden Baptist Church and was retired from WestRock.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy S. Akins; mother, Barbara Pate Akins; four brothers, David Akins, Patrick Akins (Leigh), Paul Akins, and Glen Akins (Amy Jo); sister, Teri Moore (Steve); thirteen nieces and nephews and one great nephew.
Visitation will be held at Linden Memorial Park on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 10:30 am until the 11:00 am service time with Dr. David Stidham officiating.
