Margaret Louise Gates Criswell age 79 a homemaker of Thomasville, AL died August 25, 2022 at her home. She was born March 13, 1943 in Mobile, AL to Harrison and Ruth Gates. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Gwendolyn Newton, Vonda Overton, and Tanya Vick; two brothers, Frank Gates and James Gates; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Criswell.
Visitation will be held at Liberty Baptist Church on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Leon Parnell officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
