Obituary for Ida May Burge Bell
Ida May Burge Bell age 102 of Grove Hill, AL died June 28, 2022 at her home. She was born January 27, 1920 in Grove Hill, AL to Henry Franklin and Ida Sue Burge. She was a longtime bookkeeper and secretary for many businesses in Grove Hill and she was a member of Grove Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Sue Ladd Morgan and Rachel Ingram; four grandchildren, Sonia Livingston (Chris), Susan Hemmerly (Wayne), Tara Hulsey (Greg), and Lance Ingram (Cherish); seven great grandchildren, Zach Livingston, Bella LaFontaine, Harrison Hemmerly, Ainsley Husley, Landen Ingram, Haley Hulsey, and Brayden Ingram; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armond Lawrence Bell.
Visitation will be held at Grove Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Randy Boone officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery.
