Obituary for Marvin Roy Rutledge, Sr.
Marvin Roy Rutledge, Sr. age 83 of Dickinson, AL died June 6, 2022 at his home. He was born March 29, 1939 in Nettlesboro, AL to Holley Edward and Kylie Evessie Rutledge.
He was survived by his son, Marvin Roy Rutledge, Jr.; daughter, Renee R. Luker, Rachel Culbreth, and Robin Rembert; two brothers, Maurice Rutledge and Irvin Rutledge; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Alyce Sheffield Rutledge; parents, Holley Edward and Kylie Evessie Rutledge; and a sister, Ruby Baugh.
Visitation will be held at Salem Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am service time with Rev. Andy Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
