David Leon Hill age 89 of Demopolis, AL died May 30, 2022 at his home. He was born June 22, 1932 in Calvary, AL to Johnnie Nathaniel and Lillie Belle Hill. He was a retired turbine operator with Gulf States Paper Corporation. He was a member of Canal Heights Church of Christ and was a US Army veteran.

He was survived by his son, David L. Hill, Jr. (Caroline); two daughters, Carol McDaniel and Debra Gentry; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Canal Heights Church of Christ on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Bryan Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Demopolis Memorial Gardens.
