Obituary for William Tillman Ward, Jr.
William Tillman Ward, Jr. age 95 of Linden, AL died May 30, 2022 at his son’s home. He was born August 31, 1926 in Myrtlewood, AL to William Tillman and Irma Gray Ward. He was a retired power house operator with James River Corporation and was a member of Linden Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son, William Tillman Ward, III (Anita); two grandsons, William Brantley Ward and Tillman LeGrant Ward; a special friend, Wendy Poellnitz; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Ward; parents, William Tillman and Irma Gray Ward; two brothers, Bo Ward and J. C. Ward; and two sisters, Virginia Giles and Betty Ann Aydelott.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Geneva Presbyterian Church Cemetery on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Paul Guy officiating.
