Obituary for Clydie Mae Dement
Clydie Mae Johnston Dement age 90 a homemaker of Thomasville, AL died May 1, 2022 at her home. She was born March 7, 1932 in Elmore County, AL to Owen Clyde and Tossie Mae Johnston. She was a member of Grove Hill Methodist Protestant Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Calvin Dement (Pat) and Glenn Dement (Doris); two daughters, Ann Morgan (Wayne) and Peggy Blevins (Howard); two brothers, Bobby Johnston and Marvin Johnston; two sisters, Betty Jo Howell and Vermel Timberlake; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Benny Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Chilton, AL.
