David Leon Black age 72 of Nicholsville, AL died February 20, 2022 at his daughter’s home in Sweet Water, AL. He was born January 24, 1950 in Thomasville, AL to James Luther and Sadie Mae Black. He was a former automobile mechanic.

He is survived by his son, Randall Wayne Black (Amy) Of Nicholsville, AL; two daughters, Angela Black Walker (Lamar) of Thomaville, AL and Michelle Black Pritchett (Jimmy) of Sweet Water, AL; brother, Jimmy Ralph Black of Nicholsville, AL; sister, Pat Rogers of Aimwell, AL; eight grandchildren, Brittany Black Bailey (John), Ameila Lynn Black (Brett); Randi Black Stabler (Jesse), Devin Lee Black (Emily), Breanna Walker Grochowski (Chase), Brannon Tra Pritchett, Dustin Kyle Pritchett (Alex), Landen Cole Pritchett; seven great grandchildren, Emitt Wayne Black-Bailey, Jace Bryant Black, Alaina Lynn Black, Joseph Wyatt Hare, Easton Cash Black, Emma Kate Pritchett, and Blaklee Clayton.
