Christeen Newton age 93 a homemaker of Pine Hill, AL died July 5, 2021 at Thomasville Regional Medical Center. She was born July 9, 1927 in Pine Hill, AL to George W. and Etta Morgan. She was a member of Pine Hill Church of God.
She is survived by her son, Billy George Newton; brother, David A. Morgan; and grandson, Wayne Etheredge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Newton; daughter, Mary Ellen Etheredge; son, Charles E. Newton.
Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am service time with Rev. Lester Vick and Brother Andy Etheredge officiating. Burial will follow at Kelly Cemetery in Pine Hill, AL.
