Obituary for Christy Curtis Newton
Christy Curtis Newton age 48 of Thomasville, AL died June 18, 2021 at Thomasville Regional Medical Center. She was born in Jackson, AL to Steve and Sherry Curtis. She worked for many years as a paralegal and was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church and City Hope Church.
She is survived by her husband, Dick Newton; three sons, Hunter Jackson (Brook), Nic Newton, and Tyler Newton; mother, Sherry Thomas (Andy); sister, Brigette Kirk (Brad); brother, Tyler Thomas; and 3 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Curtis.
Visitation will be held at Thomasville Baptist Church on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Burial will follow at Choctaw Corner Cemetery.
