William Earnest Stephens age 80 of Grove Hill, AL died June 16, 2021 at SAAD Hospice in Mobile, AL. He was born November 10, 1940 in Grove Hill, AL to Curtis and Mattie Pearl Stephens. He was a retired machinist of 38 years with Georgia-Pacific Corporation and was a member of Okalona Methodist Protestant Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife, Yevone B. Stephens; two sons, William Dale Stephens (Gail) and Earnest Craig Stephens; two daughters, Teresa Ann Martin (Frank) and Janet Lynn Baugh (Allen); sister, Josie Merle Callaway; eight grandchildren, Henry Stephens, Kim Prescott, Bradley Martin, Brandon Martin, Brittney Morris, Tiffany Singley, Ashley Baugh, and Ellen Stephens; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Mattie P. Stephens; two brothers, Earl Stephens and Larry Stephens; sister, Dorothy Newton; and great granddaughter, Anna Grace Martin.

Visitation will be held at Okalona Methodist Protestant Bible Church on Sunday, June 20, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Okalona Methodist Protestant Bible Church on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Larry Sullivan and Rev. Ron Giles officiating. Burial will follow at Henley Cemetery in Fulton, AL.
