Obituary for Echols "Sonny" Rentz
Echols Corder "Sonny" Rentz age 90 of Linden, AL died May 22, 2021 at his home. He was born December 23, 1930 in Myrtlewood, AL to Henry Echols and Mary Louise Rentz. He was a former communications engineer with Williams Transco Gas and a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty A. Rentz; three daughters, Susan R. Heidbrink (Ken), Sandy R. Dykes (Cliff), and Penny R. Yarbrough (Keith); three grandchildren, Tonya Glass, Corey Dykes, and Brandon Rentz.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Linden Memorial Park on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Fred Sakon officiating. Visitation will be at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home from 10 until 10:45 am prior to services.
