Laurel Peyton Lewis age 32 a resident of Pensacola, FL died May 8, 2021 at her home. She was born August 9, 1988 in Selma, AL to Scott and Darnelle Lewis. Peyton was a graduate of Thomasville High School and was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her father, Scott Lewis (Patty); her mother, Darnelle Wolf (Tim); daughter, Laurel Burkley Adams; son, Cameron James Rice; brother, Stanton Jake Lewis (Zipporah); grandmothers, Erin Lewis Moseley and Elinor Whitfield Ott.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Burke Dumas Lewis and Clayburn "John" Ott.

A celebration of life service will be held at Thomasville Baptist Church on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Adam Rice and Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Burial will follow at Choctaw Corner Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at Thomasville Baptist Church from 2 until 3 pm.

Active pallbearers will be Dallas Gray, Fletcher Wilkinson, Ethan Lewis, Greyson Lewis, Luke Davie, and Colton Davie.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thomasville High School Class of 2006.

In lieu of flowers her family request memorials be made to The Lovelady Center, 7916 2nd Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35206.
