John William Gates age 77 of Faunsdale, AL died February 7, 2021 at Park Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born April 13, 1943 in Thomasville, AL to William Irvin and Annie Alberta Gates.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Joyce Gates; son, Justin Gates; sister, Lucille Capps; sister, Ann Ruth Mitchell; brother, David Gates; sister, Joyce Brake; brother, Bruce Gates; sister, Robbie Cassity; and sister, Virginia Kearley; and grandchild, Eloise Kate Gates.
Visitation will be held at Hoboken Baptist Church on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time. Burial will follow at Hoboken Baptist Church Cemetery.
