Obituary for Sydney Vivian Stringer, Jr.
Sydney Vivian Stringer, Jr. age 88 of Coffeeville, AL died January 27, 2021 at Crowne Health Care of Thomasville. He was born February 27, 1932 in Coffeeville, AL to Sydney V. and Minnie Albanese Stringer. He was a retired truck driver. He was a member of West Bend Baptist Church and a US Navy veteran of the Korean War
He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Stringer; son, Vic Stringer; daughter, Ann Goodman; brother, Joe Stringer (Betty); aunt, Mary Pierce; five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at West Bend Baptist Church on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 10:30 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Irby Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at West Bend Cemetery.
