Mamie Grace Hogue age 93 of Greensboro, AL died January 16, 2021 at Colonial Haven Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 12, 1927 in Greensboro, AL to Henry Wayne and Mamie Bond McMillan. She was a homemaker and a member of Newbern Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for sixty years.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Hogue Graham (Michael); son, Wallace Duskin Hogue IV (Becky); seven grandchildren, Julian Dewitt Washburn III, Amy Smith Hart, Audra Smith McKinney (Mac), Amanda Smith Kaylor (Lance), Ashton Rebecca Smith, Kayleigh Hogue Scott (Corey), and Wallace Duskin Hogue V; seven great grandchildren, Tanner Rose, Landon Rose, Abbie McKinney, Lillie McKinney, Huckabee McKinney, Sela McKinney, and Olivia Kaylor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Duskin Hogue III; daughter, Louise Hogue Washburn; and grandson, Robert Keith Washburn.

Private family graveside funeral services will be held at Newbern Cemetery on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 am with Brother Steve Vernon officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Association of Alumni and Friends of Southern Academy (AAFSA).
