Obituary for Ottis Wayne Hoggle, Sr.
Ottis Wayne Hoggle, Sr. age 94 of Linden, AL died December 21, 2020 at Whitfield Regional Hospital. He was born October 30, 1926 in Hale County, AL to Watson and Fannie Mae Hoggle. He was a former planer mill foreman and a US Navy veteran.
He is survived by his son, Wayne Hoggle; two sisters, Josephine Avery and Jennette Richardson; grandchild, Kelli Hoggle Gordon; great grandchild, Chloe Gordon; extended family, Melissa Elliott, Krystal Elliott, Bea and Allan Wyatt, Beth Cunningham, Sarah Pilgrim, Will Jones, Jeff Jones, Shiloh Pilgrim, Peyton Cook, and Blake Smyly.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Virginia Hoggle; grandson, Jonathan Wayne Hoggle; two brothers, Troyce Hoggle and Leon Hoggle; and significant other, Mattie Sewell.
Visitation will be held at Linden Memorial Park on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 1:30 pm until the 2:00 pm graveside service with Rev. Steve Vernon officiating.
