Obituary for Elaine Kirkham Ray
Elaine Kirkham Ray age 88 of Tuscaloosa, AL passed away July 22, 2020 at Hospice of West Alabama. She was born February 15, 1932 to Edward and Mary Kirkham. She was employed as a seamstress at Vanity Fair Mills for over 20 years. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Ray and Al Ray (Christina); three daughters, Teresa McLellan, Anita Thornhill (Eddie) and Eva Shadwrick (Ronnie); brother, Billy Kirkham; sister, Betty Fogarty; 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvie Ray, her parents, and great grandson, Christian Tate Cook.
Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm. Graveside funeral services will follow at Linden Memorial Park at 3:00 pm with Keith Kirkham officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of West Alabama or Forest Hill Baptist Church.
