Obituary for Bill Faircloth
William Merrill Faircloth, Jr. age 74 of Thomasville, AL died July 2, 2020 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born April 6, 1946 in Mobile, AL to William Merrill and Jewell Woodham Faircloth. Bill started his ministry in 1984 and served as pastor of Liberty Baptist Church for the past 18 years. Bill would have everyone to know what a great Savior he has and he is now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Christ was his life and he loved his family, but his beloved Becky was the glue that held them together.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Barnes Faircloth; daughters, Ashley Faircloth Caldwell (Charlie) and Paige Faircloth LeGrande (Andy); son, William Merrill Faircloth, III (Whitney); his mother, Jewell Woodham Faircloth; two brothers, Don Faircloth (Tracey) and Joel Faircloth (Janet); six grandchildren, Caroline Caldwell, Jay Caldwell, Drew LeGrande, Haylie LeGrande, William Merrill Faircloth, IV “Liam”, and Sadie Faircloth; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Merrill Faircloth and brother, Ronnie Faircloth.
A come and go visitation will be held at Liberty Baptist Church on Tuesday evening July 7, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Liberty Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church.
