Obituary for Bobby Sims
Robert Clay “Bobby” Sims age 65 of Magnolia, AL died July 2, 2020 at Providence Hospital. He was born September 2, 1954 in Arlington, AL to Clayton and Hattie Mae Sims. He worked outdoors either on the roadways or in the woods as a logger. He was a member of Sunny South Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Sims; son, David Sims of Pine Hill, AL; son, Jamie Sims of Camden, AL; daughter, Susan Sheffield (James) of Coy, AL; daughter, Mary Lamkin of Camden, AL; son, Brandon Walker of Magnolia, AL; son, Michael Walker of Magnolia, AL; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Madison Lamkin; grandson, Hunter Clay Walker; his parents, Clayton and Hattie Mae Sims; brother, Arthur Sims; and sister, Elsie Finley.
Memorial services will be held at Independence Cemetery on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
