Obituary for Elsie Sims Finley
Elsie Sims Finley age 81 of Sunny South, AL died May 30, 2020 at Thomasville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 25, 1938 in Sunny South, AL to Clayton Jasper and Hattie Mae Sims. She was a retired postmaster and a member of Sunny South Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Finley Ault (Ricky); son, Gene Pearson Finley, Jr.; brother, Robert Clay Sims; granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Ault; grandson, Andrew Sean Ault; and great grandchild, Finley Rittenberry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Pearson Finley, her parents, Clayton Jasper and Hattie Mae Sims, and her brother, James Arthur Sims
Visitation will be held at Sunny South Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am service time with Rev. Denny Couturie officiating.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Sunny South Cemetery Association.
