Obituary for Marilyn French Jordan
Marilyn French Jordan age 88 of Jackson, AL., died May 16, 2020 at her home. She was born February 20, 1932 in Waterloo, Iowa to John Kenneth and Kathryn Leeper French. She was homemaker, pastor's wife, and mother. She attended River Hill Baptist Church and McCann's Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Coyt H. Jordan, III (Laura) and Henry Duane Jordan (Caroline); two daughters, Patricia J. Dukes (Billy) and Judy Harris (Butch); seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Coyt H. Jordan Jr., her parents, John Kenneth and Kathryn Leeper French; brother, Don French; and three sisters, Colleen Trimble, Phyllis Bollman, and Norma Trenhaile.
Visitation will be held at Campground United Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 from 2:30 pm until the 3:30 pm service time with Rev. Brian Dukes, Brandon Dukes, and Henry Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery.
