Josie Kathleen Stockman age 97 a resident of Thomasville and former resident of Selma, AL died May 6, 2020 at Thomasville Regional Medical Center. She was born January 16, 1923 in Moores Valley, AL to Henry S. and Eleanor Stockman. She was retired from the Dallas County Board of Education and was a member of First Baptist Church of Selma where she sang in the choir for 36 years.

She is survived by a nephew, Lamar and Linda Stockman; niece, Betty Deaton King; nephew, Kenneth and Daphne Stockman; niece, Cheryl and John Lisenbe; and nephew, Joe and Irene Stockman.

Private graveside funeral services were held on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Cox officiating.
