Obituary for Archie Greel Higdon
Archie Greel Higdon age 83 of Thomasville, AL died April 28, 2020 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born December 8, 1936 in Conecuh County, AL to Sam Richard and Nelia Mae Higdon. He was a retired lumber company superintendent and a former employee Golden Railroad Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine W. Higdon; two daughters, Juanita Bridges and Clara Higdon Criswell; son, Maxwell Higdon; six grandchildren, Jamie Bridges, Jeremy Bridges, Jennifer Elliott, Jake Newberry, Sabrina Williams, and Logan Criswell; three great grandchildren, Gage Winters, Emma Grace Bridges, and Madelyn Williams.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Evelyn Newberry
Private graveside funeral services were held on Friday, May 1, 2020 at Choctaw Corner Cemetery with Buford Golden officiating.
Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Church.
