Obituary for Joseph Richard Jones
Joseph Richard Jones age 89 of Shiloh, AL died April 23, 2020 at Marengo Nursing Home. He was born February 24, 1931 in Marengo County, Alabama to Mims Wiley and Hattie Jones. He was a retired paper mill mechanic and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Mae Jones; son, Joseph Wayne Jones; daughter, Kay Autery; daughter, Brenda Stephens ( Wiley); son, Carl Ray Jones (Regina); five grandchildren, Khonda Stephens, Joey Stephens (Tonia), Chip Jones (Valerie), Lacy Ritenburgh (Eli), and Cody Autery; and five great grandchildren, Joseph Stephens, Brayden Jones, Ella Ritenburgh, Alden Ritenburgh, and Ensleigh Autery.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joann Jones; and two grandchildren, Missy Jones and Dusty Autery.
Private graveside funeral services were held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Shiloh Cemetery with Dr. Kenneth Fields officiating.
