William Earl Swindle, a resident of Thomaston, Alabama, passed away February 27, 2020. He was born December 21, 1955 in Selma, Alabama.

He is survived by his wife Holly Skinner Swindle. Daughters, Sarah (Phillip) Hendrix, Huntsville, Al. and Samantha (Nick) Barkley of Safford, Virginia, and son, Clinton Cannon, of Thomaston, Alabama. Sisters Nell (Nelson) Barnett of Daphne, AL., Margaret (Keneth) Ross, of Collinsville, MS. and Pamela (Charles) Rives of Pleasant Hill, AL. Four grandchildren, Mackenzie Hendrix, Kyler Hendrix, Nathan Barkley and Ava Barkley. He was very proud of them and proud to be their PawPaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur L. and Thelma Swindle and three sisters: Elsie
Smith, Norma Agee and Leah Sargent.
He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 30 years of service. He was in the Bridges and
Building Maintenance Department.
Graveside memorial services will be held March 6th. in the Thomaston Cemetery at 10:00 am.
