Obituary for Marilyn Smith
Jane Marilyn Shelton Smith age 88 a homemaker of Vineland, AL died January 8, 2020 at her home. She was born October 6, 1931 in Vineland, AL to George Byron and Aurelia Shelton.
She is survived by her children, James Terry Smith (Janice Bridges) and Kaye S. Smith (Dewayne); two grandchildren; first cousin, Jane Whitely; niece, Debra Brown Walker; and many wonderful and loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Glenn Smith; father, George Byron Shelton; mother, Aurelia Shelton McManus; and sister, Ellen George Shelton Brown.
Visitation will be held at Vineland Baptist Church on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Jimmy Powell and Rev. Lister Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
