Obituary for Jannie Milstead Turley
Jannie Milstead Turley age 88 of Sweet Water, AL died November 21, 2019 at Whitfield Regional Hospital. She was born December 26, 1930 in Beaver Creek, AL to William Aaron and Relia A. Milstead. She was a retired seamstress with Vanity Fair Corporation and a member of Sweet Water Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Sharma (Sid) and Judy Kelley; two sons, Jeff Turley and David Turley; four grandchildren, Priscilla Collinsworth (Jason), Adam Pope (Brooke), Chanda Sharma, and Brittany Sharma; four great grandchildren, Abigail Collinsworth, Avery Collinsworth, Keelie Pope, and Ryleigh Pope.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Andrew Turley, parents, William Aaron and Relia A. Milstead, four brothers and two sisters.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. Sidney B. Hill officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: South Marengo Fire And Rescue or to your favorite charity.
