Obituary for Jimmie Glass Brame
Jimmie Glass Brame age 85 a cattle farmer of Faunsdale, AL died October 19, 2019 at Whitfield Regional Hospital. He was born April 2, 1934 to Quinnie Alexander and Tsianina Glass Brame. Mr. Brame was a director of the Farmers Federation and former director and president of the Marengo Cattleman's Association. He served for ten years as commissioner for Marengo County and was a member of Thomaston Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Brame; daughter, Wendy Etheridge (Roy); two sons, Alex Brame (Shelley) and John Douglas Brame; sister, Susie Elizabeth Lane; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Lee Brame and Claude Lawrence Brame.
Visitation will be held at Thomaston Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. David Traywick and Rev. George McKee officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Cemetery.
Flowers will accepted or memorials may be made to the Dayton Cemetery.
