Obituary for Joe Ballard
James Ross “Joe” Ballard, Sr. age 77 of Sweet Water, AL died October 17, 2019 at his home. He was born February 2, 1942 in Clarke County, AL to William A. and Audie Mae Ballard. He was a retired butcher.
He is survived by his three sons, James R. Ballard, Jr., John P. Ballard, and Adam W. Ballard; daughter, Falisa Moore; three brothers, Ben Ballard, Billy Ballard, and Jimmy Ballard; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Ballard.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Hickory Grove Cemetery on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 10:00 am with Rev. Larry Cox officiating.
