Obituary for Carolyn Norris
Peggy Carolyn Norris age 74 of Butler, AL died October 11, 2019 at Mobile Infirmary. She was born February 17, 1945 in Thomaston, AL to David Larsen and Cazzie Rebecca Smyly. Carolyn worked for many years as a florist and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Norris; daughters, Ginger Glass (Rusty) and Buffy Luker (Ricky); two brothers, Jack Smyly and Gary Smyly; sister, India Goss; seven granchildren, Brent Luker, Ty Glass, Miranda Maher, Seth Glass, Thea Luker, Jennah Glass, and Katy Glass; 6 great grandchildren; and a special niece, Janis Sells.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Larsen and Cazzie Rebecca Smyly, and sisters, Imojean Bell and Patricia Taylor.
Visitation will be held at Union Grove Baptist Church on Monday, October 14, 2019 from 10:30 am until the 11:30 am service time with Rev. Lister Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweet Water, AL.
