Richard Allen Buckalew age 77 a welder of Thomasville, AL died October 7, 2019 at his home. He was born March 17, 1942 in Thomasville, AL to Floyd and Edna Pearl Buckalew.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Crenshaw Buckalew; son, Richard Allen Buckalew, Jr. (Deanna); sister, Shirley Buckalew Averitte; grandchild, Dawson Buckalew; three nephews, Johnny Buckalew (Shirley Daughtery); Albert Buckalew (Kathy); and Wayne Buckalew (Pam).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Edna Pearl Buckalew; four siblings, Floyd D. “Little Buck” Buckalew, Jr., Flora Buckalew, Albert “BaBa” Buckalew, and Bruce “Bootsie” Buckalew.
Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Graveside funeral services will be held at Henley Cemetery on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
