Obituary for Elizabeth Bolen Pope
Nellie Elizabeth Bolen Pope age 96 of Arlington, AL died September 2, 2019 at Thomasville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 1, 1922 in Magnolia, AL to Charles Julian and Nellie Elizabeth Bolen. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Arlington United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Leonard Malcolm Pope (JoAnn) of Vineland, AL; Larry Charles Pope (Ellen) of Vineland, AL; and Barry Hubert Pope (Brenda) of Arlington, AL; daughter, Lyndell June Traweek (George) of Northport, AL; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Pope.
Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Bruce LeVan officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
