Obituary for J.D. Flowers
Joseph David "J.D." Flowers age 93 of Sweet Water, AL died August 17, 2019 at his home. He was born July 1, 1926 in Marengo Co., AL to James Campbell and Annie Elizabeth Flowers. J.D. was a retired banker of 39 years at First Bank of Linden and a World War II, US Army veteran.
He is survived by his sister, Katie Allday.
He was preceded in death by his brother, J. S. Flowers; and two sisters, Ethel Flowers and Winona Flowers Lowrey.
Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 10:00 am with Rev. Bo Brantley officiating. Burial will follow at Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery.
