James Alford age 80 of Thomasville, AL died June 18, 2019 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born August 10, 1938 in Coffeeville, AL. He was a former carpenter. He was a member of Magnolia Methodist Protestant Church and a US Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Faye Alford, two daughters, Vicky Dickinson (Bobby) and Cindy Hudson (Ricky); brother, Harold Alford; brother, Buster Alford; brother, Johnny Ray Alford; sister, Glenda Alford; and brother, George Alford; six grandchildren, Chuck Andrews, Nikki Andrews, Whitney Reed, Travis Hudson, Anna Nall, and Josh Alford; fourteen great grandchildren, Gracie Andrews, Bailee Andrews, Chess Andrews, Coleman Deas, Rianna Deas, Avery Sturdivant, Bella Reed, Jace Reed, Nick Hudson, Faith Hudson, Brady Nall, Grayson Nall, Collin Nall, and Gen Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his sons, infant Myron Neal. Alford and Dwayne Alford; great grandson, Cayden Nall.

Visitation will be held at Magnolia Methodist Protestant Church on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time. Burial will follow at Kelley Cemetery in Thomasville, AL.
