James Dennis Hathcock age 73 of Pine Hill, AL died May 30, 2019 at his home. He was born August 29, 1945 in Fulton, AL. He was a retired auto diesel instructor at Alabama Southern College. He was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Air force.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Elaine Hathcock of Pine Hill, AL; son, Joseph Christopher Hathcock of Pine Hill, AL; two brothers, Johnny Earl Ballard of Thomasville, AL and Charlie Walter Ballard of Pine Hill, AL; three sisters, Deborah Amy Ballard of Pine Hill, AL; Bonnie Jean Coates of Pine Hill, AL; and Shara Gayne Cotten of Thomasville, AL; four grandchildren by choice, Lexie Brewer, Jacobs Brewer (Lake), Aubrey Brewer Harvell (Shawn), and Celeste Brewer.
Visitation will be held at Thomasville Baptist Church on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Ty Parten and Rev. Nathan Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Pine Hill, AL.
