Obituary for Dwance Jordan
Oris Dwance Jordan age 84 of Campbell, AL died May 10, 2019 at Rush Specialty Care Hospital in Meridian, MS. He was born March 2, 1935 in Campbell, AL to Connie Ede and Ruth Jordan. He was a retired rural mail carrier with the US Postal Service. He was a member of Witch Creek Baptist Church and a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Phillips (Tommy) of Grove Hill, AL and Lydia Christian (Warren) of Cottonwood, AL; four sons, Buddy Jordan of Campbell, AL; Johnny Jordan (Donna) of Campbell, AL; Al Jordan (Ensley) of Auburn, AL; and Charlie Jordan of Dixons Mill, AL; sister, Elene Crow of Thomasville, AL; fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Witch Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 11:00 am until the 12:00 noon service time with Rev. Warren Huggins officiating. Burial will follow at Witch Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Campbell, AL.
