Obituary for Helen Hollingsworth Hayes
Helen Hollingsworth Hayes age 87 a homemaker of Lasca, AL died April 24, 2019 at her home. She was born May 22, 1931 in Jackson Bend, AL to Thomas Augustus and Penny Orilla Hollingsworth. She was a member of Forest Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Scottie Hayes and Allen Hayes; two daughters, Mary Harrison and Rita Hayes Norris; twelve grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Arland C. Hayes; son Travis Hayes; and great grandson, Trevor Hayes.
Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Graveside funeral services will be held at Forest Springs Cemetery on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11:00 am with Chaplain David Cooper officiating.
