Obituary for Benjamin Franklin Pugh
Benjamin Franklin Pugh age 83 of Thomasville, AL died April 21, 2019 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born January 8, 1936 in Lasca, AL to Elijah and Minnie Pugh. Ben was a retired master carpenter with Custom Pew Company. He a member of Pineview Baptist Church and a member of Oliver Lodge #334 F & AM.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ott Pugh of Thomasville, AL; two sons, Mike Pugh (Ruby) and Donald Pugh (Tammy) both of Thomasville, AL; daughter, Lisa Knight of Miller’s Ferry, AL; two brothers, John William Pugh and George Pugh both of Grove Hill, AL; five grandchildren, Tiffany Harris, Adam Knight, Morgan Hill (Daniel), Tanner Pugh, and Anthony Phillips; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Pineview Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ty Parten, Rev. Mitch Thrower, and Rev. Scott Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Thomasville, AL.
