Shirley Mitchell Crocker age 79 of Thomaston, AL died November 28, 2018 at her home. She was born December 2, 1938 in Thomaston, AL to Thomas Jewitt and Irma Mitchell. She was a retired bank teller and a member of Thomaston Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Bruce Crocker of Thomaston, AL; two sons, Robert Mitchell Crocker (Chere) of Nacogdoches, TX, and Jeffrey Bruce Crocker (Kristen) of Sebastian, FL; three daughters, Cynthia Crocker Nichols (Larry) of Tomball, TX, Rene Crocker McCleary (Mike) of Southern Shores, NC, and Pam Moore (John) of Thomaston, AL; brother, Charles Clifford Mitchell of Hugo, AL; sister, Anne Dale Etheredge (Cecil) of Conyers, GA; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Jewitt and Irma Mitchell; two brothers, Thomas J. Mitchell (Bea) and Lt. James B. Mitchell.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Thomaston Cemetery on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Rev. David Traywick officiating.
