David Leerant Ballard age 53 a carpenter of Dixons Mills, AL died October 29, 2018 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born February 25, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio to Benjamin Durant and Sherbie Jean Ballard.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Milstead Ballard; son, Jayme Ballard (Beverlee); daughter, Jessica Grimes (Jacob); father, Ben Ballard; sister, Debra Ballard; brother, Benny Ballard; and grandson, Travis Leerant Ballard.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherbie Ballard; two brothers, John Kimbrough Smith and Tobby Ballard.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Hickory Grove Cemetery on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Billy Ballard and Rev. Glenn Akridge officiating.
