Martha Janelle Gates age 78 of Mobile, AL died October 15, 2108 at Crowne Health Care in Montgomery, AL. She was born in Thomasville, AL to Chester and Mae Beth Andrews. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Mobile, AL.

She is survived by two brothers, Rickey Andrews (Penny) and Russell Andrews (Debbie); sister, Susan Osborn (Lionel); several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bradley B. Gates; daughter, Michele Gates; her parents; and brother, Don Andrews.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jimmy Andrews officiating.
