Robert Franklin Cross age 92 of Linden, AL died October 11, 2018 at Woodhaven manor Nursing Home. He was born October 7, 1926 in Bailey, MS to Robert and Grace Cross. He was a former employee of Transcontinental Gas Co and a US Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Mike Cross (Debra) of Gulf Shores, AL; daughter, Janelle Baker (Bill) of Gallion, AL; three grandchildren, Garrett Baker (Brooke), Cade Baker (Dorothy), and Evan Cross; three great grandchildren, Brett Baker, Avery Baker, and Henley Baker.

Visitation will be held at Providence Baptist Church on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Paul Whitcomb officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Garrett Baker, Cade Baker, Evan Cross, Dwaine Sealy, Eddie Edwards, and Douglas Scitz.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: The Linden Coffee Club.
