Edwina Cassity Joiner age 85 a lifelong resident of Thomasville, died September 30, 2018 at Thomasville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the youngest child of Mitford and Kate Cassity. She was a 1951 graduate of Thomasville High School. She was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church and was a longtime employee for Dr. James Stanley. Edwina enjoyed quilting and made several beautiful quilts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Franklin Joiner.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Choctaw Corner Cemetery on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ty Parten officiating.

Her family would like to express their thanks to her caregivers at Thomasville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
