Benjamin Michael Loftin age 68 of Sweet Water, AL died July 24, 2018 at Providence Hospital. He was born February 15, 1950 in Thomasville, AL. Mike was a retired electrical supervisor with Georgia-Pacific Corp. and a retired US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Shield/Storm. He was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sue P. Loftin; two sons, Benjamin Michael (Crystal) Loftin, II and Brian Mitchell (Amber) Loftin; brother, Jerry (Joyce) Loftin; four grandchildren, Cooper Loftin, Brooks Loftin, Benjamin Michael Loftin, III, and Leila Loftin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elmore Loftin, his mother, Lillian Loftin Jowers; and his brother, Sam Loftin.

Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Graveside funeral services will be held at Old Liberty Cemetery on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 10:00 am with Rev. Ty Parten officiating.
